Exergen and GE Healthcare Announce Partnership

Exergen Corporation and GE Healthcare, a unit of General Electric Company, have recently entered into an agreement for non-exclusive global distribution of Exergen’s model TAT-5000, the professional version of Exergen’s award winning TemporalScanner™ Temporal Artery Thermometer. Concurrently, Exergen and GE Healthcare have launched a joint development program to combine the technologies of temporal artery thermometry and vital signs monitoring.

With over 25 years of blood pressure monitoring experience and over 350,000 devices, GE Healthcare’s line of vital signs monitors provide more than 3 million vital signs determinations each day. With more than 1 million consumer and professional models in service, Exergen’s TemporalScanner™ Temporal Artery Thermometer has become the gold standard for accurate non-invasive temperature determination, providing nearly 1 million temperature measurements per day.
