How a Brand Gets “Lucky”
Our client wanted to increase awareness of her brand among women
and teens, increase retail sales, augment distribution, and introduce
new products to consumers, retailers, and rep groups. Rosica implemented
a public relations program that established the company’s
founder as a beauty and pampering expert. Our SalesSmartsm
PR tactics resulted in improved rep-group relations and helped augment
company sales. We created a VIP list of sales reps and potential
as well as existing retailers and sent them videotapes of our spokesperson’s
TV appearances and the reprints of newspaper and magazine coverage
that we had secured. Rosica arranged desk-side meetings for our
client with numerous media outlets resulting in placements that
included CosmoGirl!, Glamour, People en Espanol and Lucky magazines.
In addition, we launched new products to the general consumer, beauty,
and spa trade press and publicized the founder’s appearances
at tradeshows and special events. As a result, within the first
year of the campaign, Rosica delivered over 110,000,000 print and
electronic media impressions and Lucky Chick increased its brand
awareness, sales and cachet.
