100-Year-Old Newspaper Gets Print
Weekly Reader asked Rosica to assist them in planning and
promoting their 100th Anniversary celebration. Rosica was successful
in getting the client’s selected memorabilia inducted into
the Smithsonian Institution. We also solicited and secured over
two-dozen endorsements from prominent celebrities and sports figures
that recalled their childhood reminiscences of Weekly Reader, and
promoted those endorsements through print and broadcast media. Laura
Bush was among the people who responded. Rosica coordinated an event
to attract national newspaper, television and radio and generated
millions of positive media impressions for this anniversary PR program.
