Company Donates Electric Scooters to Veterans
Dallas Disabled American Veterans Group to Receive Donated Electric Scooters in Honor of Memorial Day
WHO: Chester Herron is the Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Big "D" Chapter 57 and Mark Friedman, Treasurer of the Dallas DAV receive three electric scooters donated by James George and Russ Anderson of The Rascal Company
WHAT: Vietnam veterans John Baker and Feliciano Prado to test and demonstrate the scooters donated to the Dallas DAV
WHY: To honor area veterans and remind us of their sacrifices for the country as we enter the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend

On Thursday, May 24th at 11:00am, the Dallas Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will be the recipients of three electric scooters donated by The Rascal Company. These scooters come in three and four wheeled models and are re-chargeable transportation aids designed to improve the veterans’ mobility.
For over 30 years The Rascal Company has designed and manufactured electric scooters for the mobility impaired, and giving back is part of their corporate culture. To date the company has donated hundreds of electric Scooters and Powerchairs valued at more than $500,000 to people in need. In 2006 alone, the company donated over 30 units.
