Professional Disposables International, Inc. announced it has entered a new three-year agreement with Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA) to be the sole provider of hand-sanitizing wipes, surface disinfecting wipes and other infection prevention products. The CHCA network consists of 44 leading North American children’s hospitals who are widely known for their excellence in caring for pediatric patients. CHCA children’s hospitals represent more than 20,000 physicians and 100,000 employees.

Under the three-year contract, which began January 1, 2009, PDI will supply CHCA hospital accounts their most popular pre-moistened wipes and offer infection prevention educational programs for staff and patients including the Sani-Hands® for Kids educational curriculum. Sani-Hands® for Kids Antimicrobial Alcohol Gel Hand Wipes, Sani-Hands® ALC Antimicrobial Alcohol Gel Hand Wipes, and the Sani-Cloth® product line will be among the products available.

Both Sani-Hands® for Kids and Sani-Hands® ALC are clinically proven to kill 99.99 percent of germs, including influenza and MRSA, while removing bacteria and soil from hands. The Sani-Cloth® line consists of germicidal wipes designed for the disinfection of hard, non-porous surfaces and equipment and includes Super Sani-Cloth®, Sani-Cloth® Plus, Sani-Cloth® HB, and Sani-Cloth® Bleach Germicidal Cloths, which allows the hospital access to the full product portfolio of germicidal wipes PDI has to offer.
