Rosica Awarded First-Place for Nonprofit PR Campaign

Rosica Communications just received top honors in the 2021 NJ Ad Club Awards for its Easterseals New Jersey Disability Employment Awareness Month PR campaign. At the awards ceremony, which took place on September 14, 2022, the Ad Club presented Rosica top honors for raising awareness of equitable hiring practices and widely publicizing Easterseals’ Inclusive Hiring Guide.

Since 1948, Easterseals New Jersey has been the leading nonprofit advocating for and empowering disabled workers. Annually, more than 9,000 people in the state with developmental disabilities including autism, physical disabilities, mental illness, and other special needs receive services in Easterseals’ programs, which are designed to help people achieve independence and full community-integration. Easterseals has proven to be a vital resource for disabled workers.

Rosica generated 11 earned media stories in less than 30 days with a reach of over 7,625,000. Our goals were to effectively convey the benefits of hiring people with disabilities through creative storytelling – leveraging the individuals who are impacted – and communicate the challenges faced by workers with disabilities.
