Chris Rosica, President and Chief Executive Officer

A hands-on president and CEO, Chris is passionate about entrepreneurship and helping businesses grow, adapt to change, outpace the competition, and improve internal and external communications.

Since joining the agency in 1998, he has added a dynamic dimension and style to the firm. Chris is a popular keynote speaker and lecturer on social media, online reputation management and media relations. Chris is a skilled public speaking coach who teaches CEOs, salespeople, corporate and nonprofit executives how to effectively communicate their messages. He authored The Authentic Brand, which details the process and effects of incorporating cause marketing into a company’s business and promotional agenda. His forthcoming book, The Business of Cause Marketing details the process and the results of successfully incorporating cause marketing into a company’s business strategy.

Chris is past president of the New York chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO) and currently serves on the statewide board of Salvation Army in New Jersey, as well as the state board of Boys & Girls Clubs. In 2008, he was named volunteer of the year in the Boys & Girls Club organization. Chris is a graduate of Johnson & Wales and Florida International Universities.

Kathy Carliner, Senior Vice President, Consumer Marketing Division

Kathy brings 25 years of brand building, consumer and corporate marketing communications expertise to her role at Rosica. Kathy has helped Fortune 500 and start-up companies alike establish and maintain positive reputations and further their business goals through strategic marketing communications and publicity campaigns. Her work within the consumer health, food and beverage, fashion and beauty, and packaged goods industries has earned industry awards and set standards for effective public relations programming and implementation.

Kathy is a sought-after media trainer and coach who has helped hundreds of CEOs, celebrities, authors, physicians and executives communicate effectively with the press and other key audiences. She has lectured on branding and taught business writing and communications courses at the college level. A dynamic speaker, Kathy was invited by President and Mrs. Clinton to develop and deliver a speech at the national White House Conference on Childcare (1997). She earned her B.A. from Williams College.

Terese Kelly, Senior Vice President, Media Relations

Terese Kelly has diverse PR agency and corporate experience across a broad range of industries. As Vice President of Media Relations, she is responsible for creating, directing and implementing media initiatives for the firm’s consumer marketing and business-to-business accounts. She has driven media strategies that have resulted in thousands of placements for clients in the food and beverage, B2B, consumer packaged goods, and health and beauty industries, among others.

She is a hands-on media practitioner who has cultivated and maintained relationships with leading national print and broadcast editors, producers and reporters throughout the course of her career.  She has deep experience in all facets of public relations, including national media events and press conferences; grassroots, community-based initiatives; and high-profile cause marketing campaigns.

Terese has worked twice at Rosica Communications during her PR career, once at the account executive level and currently as a member of the senior leadership team.  During her tenure at Rosica in the late 1990’s, Terese received a PRSA Pyramid Award for her work in Non-Profit Public Relations.

She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in journalism and lives in Hoboken, NJ.

 

 

Connie Ludwin Rosica Communications

Connie Ludwin, Senior Vice President

Connie is an insightful strategic thinker, social impact leader and agency executive who has provided purpose-driven communications support and thought partnership to organizations in the nonprofit, philanthropic, education and health sectors. 

For almost a decade, Connie oversaw account operations and led the Social Impact practice for a purpose-focused consultancy, where she was the account lead for prominent clients including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Rutgers University – Newark, New Jersey Prevention Network, New Jersey Health Initiatives, Prudential Foundation, United Way of Mercer County, and the Council of New Jersey Grantmakers, to name a few. 

Prior to that, she had a 25-year career in the nonprofit sector that included serving as CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey where she worked to heighten visibility and raise funds for local Clubs. She also forged numerous partnerships between public and private entities and celebrities, and developed and executed cause marketing, public relations, special events, and other brand-building activities for Boys & Girls Clubs. 

Connie is a passionate social justice ally who is active in the nonprofit community and contributes as a member of the resource development committee of the NJ Center for Non-Profits, where she previously served on its board of directors. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Kean University and certificates in nonprofit management from Columbia University and Seton Hall University. She is also a 2002 LeadNJ fellow.
