Celebrating Florence Nightingale’s Legacy – Never More Important than Today

Two hundred years ago, Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, was born. She was a visionary in leadership and nursing throughout her career. Nightingale contributed to modern nursing, including teaching others, being an advocate for nurses, and being a leader, along with recognizing the need for data and science. Due to this, the World Health Assembly has designated 2020 the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife.

Agency President, Chris Rosica, celebrates nurses and Florence Nightingale’s 200th birthday by being an advocate for them. Nurses and other healthcare professionals are working tirelessly to keep patients healthy and continue to bring innovation and leadership to the industry.

Recognition for the nursing community is essential, especially during this critical time. Rosica Communications has stepped in to help allnurses.com acknowledge and support nurses everywhere with the social media campaign #GiveANurseAHug, to show the impact they have on lives day in and day out.

Rosica is proud to partner with organizations that are supporting nurses during the Coronavirus Pandemic and those who continuously support and recognize nurses throughout the year including allnurses.com, Healing Hands Scrubs, and Exergen. The work these companies are doing is crucial in supporting nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic and throughout the remainder of the year.
