Snack Line Meets Federally Mandated School Wellness Policies

Uncle Wally’s introduces a new product line of cupcakes, muffins, brownies and other baked goods designed to meet most school wellness policies. The Snack ‘N Write Program will debut at the 2008 School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference in Philadelphia. In an effort to combat the growing epidemic of childhood obesity, many schools across the country have implemented such policies. As a result, home baked and store bought goods are no longer permitted in the school to celebrate children’s birthdays or for bake sales.

Developed by a Long Island mom with three school-aged children, The Snack ‘N Write Program offers parents and their children an option for birthdays and snacks. The Snack ‘N Write Program is sold directly to schools and made available to parents for their child’s celebration.

Uncle Wally’s founder, Wally Amos and Snack N’ Write developer, Rina Brooke, will be at the SNA Conference.
